Oh my God, you guys are so oversensitive. No, it is not good for people to go out of work, but if a good product can't be produced, it should not survive and a good show should replace it. This sort of mindset is "celebrating the arts" because it is making the arts a better place. No one on this site seems to want to talk about anything but the howdy doody happy things. Be realistic! Some shows just plain suck and deserve to close, even if people lose their jobs. The odds are most of these people will get new jobs in other shows that open, unless they are part of the reason why the show sucks, and in that case should not get a job(LONG LIVE THE FREE MARKET!!!!)
Getting on to my pick, I would chose Mamma Mia. I think it is incredibly overhyped and doesn't deserve to have run this long. Let something with substance replace it.
