Any Understudies This Weekend?#1

Has anyone been down to the city lately and can tell me if there are going to be understudies for saturday both shows and sunday? In shows like Wicked, Grease and Legally Blonde? Thank you! :)

In shows like the ones you mentioned the understudys are on almost as often as leads. However undrestudys are often just as good as leads. Im not saying how good the leads are.

I've seen other understuduies for these shows before and they all basically stunk except matthew rich who was warner. He was good.

I'd go with broadwayunderstudies.com for whatever is on there. Unless it's someone huge (and above title) they usually don't announce it ahead of time. The board goes up shortly before they start letting people in from what I've seen.

Here is what Broadway understudies has listed for this weekend...

Tuesday, August 26th - Sunday, August 31st: Tony Chiroldes will be playing the Piragua Guy in the IN THE HEIGHTS.

Friday, August 29th - Sunday, August 31st: Doreen Montalvo will be performing the role of Daniela in IN THE HEIGHTS.

Also, it's not listed on the site, but I know that Richard H. Blake is on vacation from Legally Blonde this week. Jason Gillman (ehhh) and Matthew Risch (brilliant) have been splitting the week. I don't know the specific performances each is getting this weekend, however.
