Any WHITE CHRISTMAS news?

I keep hearing that Kevin McCullum is negotiating with the unions to bring WHITE CHRISTMAS in a limited run to the Marquis this season (opening late October, closing January 4).

Anybody hear of how things are progressing? I loved the show in Boston - I wasn't expecting much, but was dazzled by the lavishness of the production and the talented combo of Jeffry Denman, Brian d'Arcy James, Metedith Patterson and Kerry O'Malley. It truly surpasses the movie, IMHO.

The anticipation of it finally being on Broadway makes me giddy!

I know as much as you, but just wanted to say I also enjoyed the production in Boston. I am looking forward to seeing Brian in Shrek, but it would've been nice to see him reprise his role in the NY run of White Christmas. Hopefully they will bring Jeffry Denman and Meredith Patterson in!

I flew up to Boston from DC specifically to see White Christmas. I liked it so much, I went again the next night. Hope it does in fact open for a limited run on Broadway.

It should. It is nice, family entertainment, and I think it will do successfully as a limited holiday engagement on the Great White Way.

I saw the touring production of White Christmas - the version produced by Theater of the Stars - last Dec. and it was great. Jeff Dename is a friend and I can imagine how great he is in the part. I really hope that it gets a Broadway run.

The North East is going to get more than they would normally. With a bitter wind chill factor too!
A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'
