...but then for the revival CD or movie soundtrack CD, the intro is only 1 bar or less?
THE MUSIC MAN: The original Wells Fargo Wagon, I believe starts with a vamp of about like 2 bars, but then the revival version starts immediately with just four BLASTS, and then "O-ho, the Wells Fargo Wagon," etc.
THE PRODUCERS: The intro to "That Face" on the original CD lasts six bars, but in the movie album, the vocals start immediately.
A CHORUS LINE: The original 1975 CD starts off with the intro done in 4, at half the speed it's supposed to be done. The 2006 CD starts off just like it's supposed to be conducted, in cut-time.

Anyone got any more?
When compared to the original cast recording, The 42nd Sreet revival recording completely eliminated the intro to both "Young and Healthy" and "Shadow Waltz".
