Any word on Bean's condition?

will she be performing today? I read that she is not "sick" but rather her vocal chords were badly strained. I do hope she can go out on a high note (sorry for the pun).
She's had a great run, it would be a shame to miss the last show.

Are you implying that the power singing and full throttle bombast required for Broadway and lauded by many as the "best" may actually be harmful to one's voice? What a surprise!
