Anybody ever seen Kristin live?

My mom is gonna give me a trip to New York as a graduation present. We might go in September, and Kristin Chenoweth will be at Carnegie Hall September 10. I was wondering if anyone has seen her in concert? Would it be worth going to?

I saw her at Mohegan Sun Casino about a year ago, in the cabaret.
It was a tough crowd, but I have to say, she won everyone over in about two seconds. She put on a wonderful show- some of her fun CD music, as well as standards. It made me appreciate how great she really is. She was all alone up there. No big show, scenery, props, orchestra, etc. Very nice personality- not the "aren't I cute" type characters she plays. You'll have a great time, I'm sure!

yeah, I was at the Mohegan Sun show as well, it was a birthday present from my parents. I got the same feeling about appreciating how great she really was. She was really sweet and funny. She had just a microphone and a small table with a jewlwery box on it, thats it.She made you forget how big the theater was, she made it real intimate.I don't know how her carnegie hall show will be, but if it is like that you'll really enjoy it. After the show she came out into the theater to sign autographs and meet her fans and she was so nice. I had heard rumors of her being nasty with her fans, but it was the total opposite. I was one of the first ones in line and when I met her she chatted with me for a little while and her manager or whatever he kinda told her to cut the conversation becasue there was a line of people waiting and she just ignored him. Something pretty funny was the lady behind me was named Kristin Chenoweth ( same spelling and everything). She got her driver's liscense out to show the actual Kristin. Anyway i went off on a tangent. You'll enjoy the show alot, hopefully she'll sing Taylor the Latte Boy! Updated On: 4/22/04 at 12:14 PM

I saw her years ago doing a solo benefit for the Poway Arts Center (suburban San Diego)Very strange place! She was obviously trying out a lot of new material for the future. I think this was shortly after Charlie Brown. Very few knew who she was although there were alot of devotees. Her emotional and vocal range is incredible. Her Glitter and Be Gay was amazing. Could be very funny too! I was the only one in the group I was with that liked her. They still talk about the horrendous blue gown she wore!

I've seen her at the Kennedy Center and at Wolf Trap with the NSO. She had a tough crowd but handled it well. I think most were charmed with her. She does a great concert set. If you like her, I would say it is well worth it.
