come out loving it?? I'm going to see it this weekend and I'm not completely enthusiastic but my friend really wants to go. I really want to WANT to see it, believe me, but I'm just not quite there. I guess I'm basically ambivalent. Am I crazy?

Well, I only have the cast album (I haven't seen the show), but I had read some things about the show, and didn't care much about it because I thought it would be too depressing. Then, I heard some of the music and decided to buy the cast album, and I ended up loving it. No, you aren't crazy. There are many ways the basic concept of he musical could have made it terrible, but it was executed perfectly. I hope you enjoy the show.
