I've found that my natural speaking voice is not expressive and hence I always change my voice slightly in every performance iI give. Is this going to present a problem for me in the future?

Not at all. When the voice is piped through a low quality speaker saying things like, "You want fries with that?" and "Please pull up to the next window", it really won't matter at all. You will be fine.

PEACE.

Its a problem with American culture, the culture dictates that the male voice need not be expressive, but just forceful. Yes, its a big change, but I would suggest playing with your voice to get your point across, use the phone more :)

What? American culture? Really...The Phone? That shouldn't be necessary. Everyone modifies their voice for performance. You might have to be more specific. If it's a slight change then it might be fine. If you're getting into vocal manipulation that might damage you. But if it's all supported and you've got good voice and speech technique I don't think it matters. I know certain people have a different voice for each character. It's part of their work. I don't think it's a huge problem.
