Author and popular star of stage and screen, Anthony Rapp talks with New York City Opera dramaturg Cori Ellison about the parallel themes of love and death in Rent, La bohème and his memoir, as well as the latter-day bohemian struggles of young artists in New York.
As a special treat to begin the event, the casts of City Opera’s La bohème and the current Broadway production of Rent perform selections from their productions, accompanied by piano. This event is also part of our Afternoon Arias series.

If I was going to be in the City, I'd be there
But alas... I love him and hope this goes well.
I wish I was, If only I lived in New York.

dang, he is sure working that book for everything he can. he did TWO book promotions where i live, which is a fairly small city. Rentheads (myself included) will still keep coming though, so I guess he's found a way to keep that money rolling in.
I didn't even know about this. Hmmmm
wish I could but im visiting in flordia, I loved the book, it really made me love Rappy even more if thats possible, he was so brutaly honest he never held anything back I loved it
