Anyone NOT looking forward to Taboo?

Posted: 9/21/03 at 7:28amFrom what I hear, the show may be a bit of a mess. Part of the problem may be the proverbial 800 pound gorilla known as Rosie. Yes she put up all the money for it & yes she should have input. The problem is if she will not listen to anyone else in her creative team & wants to make all the decisions, the show is doomed. My boss is exactly like that & is a classic micromanger.Rosie strikes me as being that type of person & if so she could doom it. I also think, & I could be wrong , it might have a limited audience to begin with . The opening press conference I do not think will sell many tickets. The music might be wonderful but .....

Can I ask what you've heard? Apart from the gossip in the press.

Posted: 9/22/03 at 6:52pmI am ambivilent to it . I doubt I would rush to see it but that is just me. If it appeals to you, great & I hope it succeeds for those who want it to . It is nothing new. Many shows, good & bad , have been killed before they ever got on track. It's all in the game
