It was a very short segment, but cute. They talked to Alex's mom and she seemed very proud. They also showed a clip of the curtain call, which showed Celia, Norm, Alex, and some others. However, Rosie mentioned that the woman playing Mdme. Thenardier was Tracy Bennett. Isn't that the role played by Jenny Galloway? Was she understudied on opening night? I was a little confused. Cute little segment though.

It is Jenny Galloway, and as far as I know she played the role on opening night. It was just a flub.

"is she allowed to tape in the theater?"

I think she would be.
I mean she's giving them publicity
Plus she's ROSIE FREAKIN O' DONNELL: Queen of the obessive Broadway fan.

Rosie seems to bring her camera to everything. I'm not sure why, but I still love her.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Rosie rocks! Anyone watch THE VIEW today?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I did see Rosie's video of Les Mis opening night on "the View" yesterday. Playbill.com is reporting that the cast will be performing on "The View" next Tuesday(Nov 21). I wonder what song(s) will be performed.
