Posted: 4/5/05 at 2:55pmI have mine, but haven't finished listening to it yet. I like the recurring use of Chim Chim Chiree as narrative. The new music fits in well with the familiar score. The song "Temper Temper" sounds incredibly frightening! And the statue guys in the pics are pretty hot. Everyone sounds wonderful on the CD. I'm very curious about the show. I'm sure it will be headed to Broadway.

Footlight has the cast CD for around $25.00, if you pre-order. This is probably the best price you will find in the states. For now.

Posted: 4/5/05 at 4:34pmI ordered mine from Amazon.co.uk for the 8 pounds thing, when I went to check out the price went down to 7.65...with shipping it was a little over 10 pounds. Not a bad deal at all.

Do the liner notes include lyrics?
Buying it from amazon.co.uk may be a bit cheaper, but it takes so much longer to receive than if you order it at footlight.com.
My friend ordered his from the Mary Poppins website and he already has it. It wasn't released until April 1.
