I just heard a song from "Prodigal" on BWWRadio and was wondering who wrote it, where was it performed, who starred in it, etc? Is it a good musical? I like the picture logo for it.

It's an Australian musical that retells the prodigal son story, with the son being gay. I don't remember everything about it, but Kerry Butler and Christian Borle were in it; I checked the CD out from the library once and enjoyed it. I don't know if you looked it up, but it should be on Amazon.
I'm sure someone will be able to help more than me, though. (Edit: like Craig, for example!)

I absolutely LOVE it!
I own the off-Broadway cast recording.
the recording is way off-bway, try Australia.
The recording is very much the US Cast and was put out by Jay Records. There are clips on Kerry Butler's site as well (I'm sure they're clips on amazon too)

I LOVE it, especially Brand New Eyes!

Yes, chip. The recording is NOT from Australia.
It is the cast from the off-Broadway production with the York Theatre Company.
The musical is Australian, but it was brought to the US.

I do like that song. Got it because of Kerry and Alison Fraser. But honestly, it's supporting the height of my cd tower right now.
I'd like to see it as an independent movie or something. I like the story.
