Anyone remember when Sara Ramirez begins her stint on Grey's Anatomy?

I was wondering when Sara started on GA, i seem to remember something about January. Any info is appreciated.

Sara begins shooting her episodes this month, but I don't believe there's been any word on when they'll actually air.

I know she was starting filming in Januray. If you go to spoilerfix.com they give you spoilers about upcoming episodes. I am just guessing but they talk about a new doctor filling in for a doctor that has to take leave. I am thinking this could be Sara's character. I know she is playing a doctor and it would make sense if she's only doing 7 episodes she might be filling in for the "Nazi" who is going on maternity leave. Again a guess, but she might be playing a character Dr Heron in which case the episode would air Jan 29th.

I heard something about the last part of January would be when she was on, so I'm hopin' that the Jan 29th spot would be her. Just finished watching the "Straight to the Heart" episode to help catch me up. The one good thing about being an RA in a dorm is that I'm on duty Sunday nights so from 9-10 I'm always able to watch this show. :-P

yeah i just watched straight to the heart....i got caught up , so im looking forward to next weeks episode and sara's stuff especially.
