Anyone seen Urinetown yet?

I am anxious to hear some feed back from the Chicago production of Urinetown. I love this show! I saw it on Broadway, but my husband has never seen it. So, we just got tickets for next month.
Gingerbread houses along golden, frothy canals. Like Venice... only different?

Urinetown spoiler: don't read if you want to be surprised by a couple of choice moments in this Urinetown:




Saw Urinetown over the weekend. Much funnier than when I saw it in NYC. The spoof they do of Wicked is awesome! Bobby does the 'defying gravity' moment in look at the sky. Brilliant! The cast is absolutely stellar. Did not see the Hope though...understudy was on this weekend.

Saw Urinetown this week. ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL! One of the best musicals I have seen in Chicago in a LONG time.

I was blown away by the talent onstage. The audience was cheering at the end. I saw in the paper today that a new block of tickets is on sale.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the show!
