Hey! I have been trying to get groups together in order to take advantage of some sweet deals. Broadway.com offers 50% off on tickets if you book with 10 people. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining? Thinking October 15th at 3pm. Orchestra tickets would only be $65 (Originally over $130) You can book your space by clicking here

That seems like it's going to be hard to coordinate. Wouldn't it be easier to get an individual ticket at TKTS (about the same price I'd think) or maybe even digital lottery ($37) or SRO ($27) ticket?
Broadway.com is the biggest scam on earth.

Well the link I provided allows us to all easily pay our share, and coordinate all details with one another via group messaging... so that wouldn't be the problem. Every where I searched I couldn't find orchestra tickets for that cheap. Could you send me a link with tickets at that price? Lotteries are great, but no guarantee

Not saying its not, but the discount is pretty sweet.

Most people on here are seasoned Broadway patrons and have likely already seen Kinky Boots at least once (like me) and have their sights set on other shows. Either that or (also like me) they are out-of-towners who are not available on that one specific date and time.
Not gonna lie. When I heard Porter and Sands were returning to the show (I was lucky to see them when I saw the show), I was tempted to see it again when I'm in NYC in November, but ultimately I opted for 6 shows I haven't seen yet.
I'm guessing you could get a similarly priced Orchestra ticket same day at TKTS. Plus your fate wouldn't rely on the whims of 9 other people. Also, just because it's a 50% off Orchestra seat, doesn't mean you'll have a good view.
Fun story: I saw Kinky Boots in November 2013 when it was super popular (after it won at the Tonys) and walked right up with two other friends and we all got $27 SRO tix. They were so thrilled, they bought my ticket too. Lol. I had back problems that entire trip and my back was killing me the entire show, but it was still so worth it.
Anyway, hope you get to see KB. It's a fun show!
the ticket itself might be $65 but the broadway.com fees are another story.

The fees are waived for groups as well. Thats why I was trying to get a group together.

Thanks for the info, hopefully I can see it soon
Why would anyone buy tickets from Broadway.com and pay those fees! Stay away... so many other options!
