Posted: 7/31/05 at 3:43pmAnyone else feel that this show is unfairly underrated, despite being hailed as a classic? I think my idea of it has been colored, however, because it fueled one of the best and most entertaining high school musicals that I've ever seen. But really...come on...it's hilarious and the songs are light and funny without being too corny. And Hope Harcourt is one of the sexiest women I've ever met in a work of fiction. Damn...I need sleep...

Posted: 7/31/05 at 4:48pmWell, it's kind of an opinion thing. I personally am anal about romantic leads, I don't think they have much substance. Not saying you're wrong, Bobby, but my opinion is that they're just "blah". Love your quote by the way! She kills me...

For you "Anything Goes" lovers.....
The Trump Plaza in Atlantic City will be producing the casino tab version of the show this Sept-November 13th. It is the Lincoln Center version cut down to 90mins. I am the wardrobe sup. for the show. Steve Steiner, one of the cast members from LC version is directing. Tickets are $25 and can be bought by going to ticketmaster.com. The cast is all equity, so it is a professional production. Let me know if you have any questions.
