"Applause" casting ideas

"Applause" has always been a favorite show of mine. Never saw the original, but did see a "Reprise" version a few years ago with Sheryl Lee Ralph, which was fun. Thought it might be fun to see some casting ideas for the three leads, if this show is ever revived (or made into a film).

The parts I'd like to really cast are those of additional book writer, and additional composer/lyricist. The show needs a major overhaul for it to work. Having said that, a cast I would like would be:

Margo- Catherine Z. Jones, Laura Linney, Rosie Perez, Debra Messing
Eve- Mamie Gummer, Anika Noni Rose
Bill- Matt Cavenaugh
Bonnie- Megan Sikora
