Applegate on Letterman? Yes? No? Maybe?

Ok, I'm on the West Coast and I read late last week that Christina Applegate would be on Letterman on 4/12.

All ads out here for the show tonight are talking about Mickey Rourke and Dave's Birthday.

Anyone on the east coast...please let me know if she was on the show tonight! I don't want to hang around the show waiting!

I did...first, actually, as I too am one of the BBW posters who does not appreciate people asking questions like "What time does RENT start?" or the ever popular..."Will so and so be performing this weekend in Wicked?" and I also have the story from last week that she'd be on Letterman tonight. Who to believe? What to do? Alas!! I was hoping someone from the East could let me know.

I was assuming (or maybe hoping) she was a last minute "unscheduled", or "replacement" guest or just might drop in to read a top ten or something for Dave's birthday.

But alas...no Christina sighted, and I was hoping she'd give a preview of her voice in one of the Charity songs.
