This may be way to early..but I'm preparing for later, but I am planning to audition for Interlochen for next summer, so the summer of 2006. The audition tape deadline is February 2006..does anyone know how the selection process works? If I were to submit my audition in say, September, would it only be judged in February anyway?
Also, what kind of songs to use for the musical theatre audition? It says you must have an upbeat song and a ballad..how upbeat is upbeat and what type of ballad? There are just soo many selections! I'll be going into my senior year of highschool when I audition, and I'm a female, mezzo-soprano / soprano. Is "Purpose" from Q too current for an upbeat song? I've used it for other audition processes.
Thanks.

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps...
What did she realize, Kitten?
That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs.
What's wrong with that?
Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had...
Where?
On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.
