#1Are box offices of closed shows open?
Posted: 11/14/07 at 3:53pmI was wondering if the box offices of shows that are affected by the strike are still open? Thanks!

Box office personnel are also union, so I believe they are honoring the strike and not crossing the picket lines.
On the other hand, people who bought their tickets at the box office need refunds. Maybe they will pay back all the refunds when they reopen?
Yeah, I don't know. Sorry.

From what I've heard, no. Box office personnel are honoring the strike and not crossing the picket line.

They are closed. The treasurers would not cross the picket lines.
Tele-charge (the Shubert-owned BO by phone) is open since they do not work in the theatres, but work in an office building where there are no lines to cross.
Ticketmaster, the other necessary evil, is also open.

They return their tix to the box office; if the box office is closed then there's a sign on the door with an address to mail their tix to.

What show?
The Telecharge shows that bought online, via phone or any way that produced a paper trail, are automatically getting a credit without having to mail back the actual tickets. Call them regarding box office purchases with cash.
Don't know about the Ticketmaster houses.
