I am gonna see the Best of Broadway at San Francisco's Shorentein-Hays Nederlander presentation of A Chorus Line, Tuna Does Vegas and Drowsy Chaperone in July and also am gonna be seeing the Music Circus in Sacramento where they would be showing Gypsy, Evita, Sweeney Todd, Hairspray, Swing and Sound of Music.

I haven't gotten mine yet.

I signed up for direct deposit, because I was assured it was the "fastest" way to get your stimulus check. Well, apparently, mine was one of the ones that got screwed up and put in the wrong account. I'm still waiting....

I'm not getting a stimulus check, but if I were I would probably use it to see a show.

That's a great idea!

Sadly, if you had your Tax Return direct-deposited, they did the same thing with the Stimulus Check.

Mine sat there for almost a month, not stimulating anything, until I noticed it on my bank statement.

I wound up doing what most folks are doing - paying bills instead of buying something to help the economy.

If I had been sent the check and had it in my hand, there would have been a nice little shopping spree instead - including, possibly, show tickets!

Silly government.

Yup...used the chunk of it that didn't have to go to something more "practical" to pay for two nights hotel and tickets to "Xanadu" (onstage) and "Gypsy" at the end of May.

I got mine the first or second week thanks to direct deposit...some relatives paid for Turbo Tax out of their refund and that completely screwed them up. Instead of getting it a month ago, they're still waiting.

Yup. That's what happened to me. I used Turbo Tax, and apparently, anyone who used Turbo Tax and selected direct deposit got screwed...still waiting for that check.

I'm using it to come to NYC, see SP on July 15, many more shows once we get in town, and spend, spend, spend in Manhattan and anywhere else that will accept my $$.

I was really sad about not being able to see Sunday in the Park With George again before it closed, and lo and behold a check arrived in the mail. It was definitely a sign.

What check? I think I'm supposed to get it sometime in July as they are supposed to send them according to the last 4 numbets of Social Security numbers. Would like to use it to go to Toronto (90 miles from Buffalo)for AVE Q

Yep...I got mine just in time to pay for my theater tickets, so I was a happy camper, and goverment is glad I am "stimulating" the economy (at least I am doing my part to keep Broadway economy afloat)
