Wow wow wow...i saw friday night's preview performance of Rent at New world stages and was completely taken aback by Arianda Fernandez. Her stage presence is golden and i believe she is the only one since Daphne Rubin Vega to embody the character truly. "Out Tonight", has never been this good. Trust me. Her voice is so unique and beautiful, which sets her apart from the others who definitely oversang the part. I cannot say enough about her.

The rest of the cast is brilliant as well. Annaeigh Ashford is hysterical. Michael Greif knows exactly what he is doing and it is fitting that he helmed the revival to make sure that is evolves but keeping in line with the spirit of what they did with the original.

My only complaint is cutting christmas bells to be shorter.
