OMG. I am just reading everyone's comments now, in 2017. I too worked backstage in the 70's. "Norman is That You" with don Knotts, "Thirteen Rue de la More" with Leslie Caron and Louis Jordan, "Arsenic and Old Lace" with Zsa Zsa and Eva Gabor, Double Take with Syd Ceasar and Imogene Coca. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. One night, when the lights when down, I was supposed to give Imogene smelling salts but by mistake I brought her a chicken leg. I thought for sure I was going to be booted out of there, but she was so kind and gracious and thanked me for "mixing things up a bit".  Was also there the night we put Zsa Zsa's husband in the window seat with a dozen roses over his chest. Zsa Zsa did this double take and asked the "dead body" Dahling, vhat are you doing in there? We laughed so hard backstage. 

It was not really a dinner/theatre establishment. People may have had dinner before at the Arlington Park Hilton, but the theater was a theater only. Years later it became Cinderella Rockefeller where I sometimes was the DJ. Also a good time. 

Miss the 70's. Love today.
