For those that have been already, how long is the play? Wondering whether to get dinner before or after.

Saw this last night, great concept in a phenominally wrong production, the venue absolutely eats this show up to the point you are watching her on a screen most of the time and then listening on headphones which after the last 16 months of digital theater why you would do anything with this artifice belt in is bewildering to me, the voting gimmick is fun but our table was convienced it wasn't accurate (somehow one question got a 100% yes response? how is that even possible) also the fact you can see Ann reading off teleprompters that werent even hidden all night was phenominal distracting from a great performance
would love to see this is a more procenium set up in a smaller house to be honest
For anyone who has done the rush, how early did you get there? And were you able to get in?
Any published reviews floating around?

I got there about 75 min before and was second in line. Within ten minutes the line was stretched around the block. I believe only about 8 of us got in.

The NYTimes review is out
Thanks!
Also, looks like new seats have been released for nearly all performances.

Terrible news! Hope everything is ok with Dowd’s family.
I changed the thread tile to alert anyone who might have been avoiding the thread for spoilers.
At the risk of rubbing salt in someone’s wound, I have to say I’m incredibly glad I got in under the wire and saw this production on Thursday. I didn’t love it, but I liked it a lot, and very glad to have seen it. What a shame!

Bummer future shows cancelled.
We saw this show yesterday (Saturday July 11th) and loved it.

Loved this production.
Stimulating and fun. Definitely raw around the edges but one wonders if that was on purpose, like Toto making sure we can see the Wizard behind the drapes.
Anne Dowd’s one-person performance is compelling. She looks exhausted because her characters are exhausted. Scientists spitting into the wind. Women getting brutalized and diminished. The water getting poised. In a world gone to hell, f bombs feel better than manners.
The gimmicks used to fill in the vast Armory work because they mimic the gimmicks of media driven democracy and infonews. Are we the informed or just the manipulated? We liked our seats but don’t feel cheaper ones would have diminished anything.
My only advice is to take the headphones off whenever Ann Dowd gets close enough to be heard naturally— about 40% of the time.

considering teleprompters are used in the production anyways it seems so odd they didn't cancel a week and just try to get someone else in for the rest of the run as oppose to taking just a huge loss, unless whatever happened was covered by production insurance
