NINE is in my top 5 musicals, though I will admit that I didn't love much of his other projects - though more the music than him. Any other faves?

Most people remember him for his musicals, but he was an incredible playwright as well.

Indians is a look at how Buffalo Bill created his Wild West show and participated in the stereotyping of Native Americans.

Wings is an audio-visual mood piece that shows how language is processed and relearned through the mind of a stroke victim.

He was a very talented writer, and I wish his non-musical works got more attention.

I did not realize that he was the writer for Phantom. Some lovely music. RIP
