Article linking

This is beginning to annoy me... If I see an article on BWW and want to comment, I do so here.

But, I don't get why some people start a new thread and just link an article featured on the front page of BWW. They leave no comment, but just post the link. It makes no sense to me. If you want to start a discussion, that's fine, but at least make a comment or post your thoughts about the article/video.

A lot of times, people don't want to express their opinion in the first post, but come back later in the thread to give their personal opinion.

Otherwise, all of the posts in response would be responses to the original poster's opinion rather than the actual news item.

I understand, but EddieVarley has a habit of doing this and it's annoying.
