I hazily remember reading on a message board or obscure interview that Schwartz originally wrote As Long As You're Mine in place of Love Song in Pippin. Can anyone corroborate this fever dream of a factoid or is it fakenewsAF?

He acknowledges (I believe in Carol de Giere's Defying Gravity, which is basically a Sondheim and Co. for Schwartz fans) that he wrote it originally in the Seventies and only slightly modified it for Wicked, but he never said it was for any project he was working on back then.
