Atlantic Theater and Public Theater Rush

I am planning on getting rush tickets for matinee performances of Hold On To Me Darling and Head Of Passes. Do people happen to know if there are usually lines for the shows before the box office opens at noon? I haven't been to either box office before, so if there were a line, would it be in an obvious place? I will definitely show up early, but want to make sure I know where to go when the box office is not open yet... Thank you for any advice!

thank you for the heads-up! Now that I am aware of the policy, I want to make sure that if I show up early, say before noon at the Linda Gross or the Public, should I just hang out in front of the main entrance? I haven't been to the Linda Gross before (I'm visiting form out of town)
