Attire for A.C.T.

Hey Left Coast, I'm headed out for my first trip to SF in about two weeks, and I was wondering what you all would advise in terms of attire for a show at A.C.T. Thanks!

Just wear what you normally would when you go to the theater. But if you want an idea, whenever I see a show at A.C.T. most people are dressed for a casual night out. But whatever you wear, make sure you bring a sweater or light jacket because it can suddenly become chilly and/or windy.

Ok, cool, thanks. So jeans would be appropriate if I look nice? Or should I wear a casual-ish dress? I hate being over or under dressed! What people wear to the theater in New York varies so much and it often seems to be a little bit more prescribed in places outside of the city. And thanks for the temperature tip! I think my entire trip will be including a lot of layers!

Either option should be fine. As long as your not wearing old jeans and a t-shirt or dressing like your going to some kind of gala you'll be ok.

But yes, dress in layers if you're going to be wandering around because there are alot of microclimates in SF. It could be sunny and warm in one neighborhood but across town it's covered in fog.
