Audience trends for particular shows

I know this is generalizing, but it always piques my interest- have you all noticed certain trends with the audiences that attend different Broadway shows this season?

For instance, when I attended Hamilton last weekend the audience was overwhelmingly over-50 and white, which was fascinating to say the least for a rap musical, but makes sense with the ticket prices and hype (and historical subject matter). Definitely many who looked 'scholarly' in the audience, if that means anything. Meanwhile the lottery #ham4ham audience was very diverse and young (and excited).

The Deaf West Spring Awakening audience was very young- I would say 85% in their 20's and 30's. Also quite diverse compared to Hamilton.

I walked by Les Miz when they let out, and that crowd was very touristy. Lots of people in stereotypical comfortable tourist gear with shopping bags.

Anyone else notice certain trends? Sorry if this is too subjective, but I just find it fascinating..

Also, this is still the first block of Hamilton tickets that went on sale, no? So, people who bought their own tickets quickly got premium for like $225 or something, no? Obviously many of those went to scalpers, but out of the gate, they weren't $400+ tickets for the first batch. So, it was still possible to see Hamilton "cheaply" then. Hell, had I know the scalping would have been this crazy I would have at least "plus one"d myself a few times already rather than not seeing it on Broadway yet.
