Audition Help: History Boys#1

Hi all,
I am currently working on an audition for a production of Alan Bennett's The History Boys, for which I have to prepare two contrasting monologues (100-200 words...).
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would make a suitable monologue for this audition? I am auditioning for the role of Irwin.
