Hi Broadway community! Im looking to audition for Hanschen in an upcoming production of Spring Awakening. I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas. Im a baritone and Hanschen is like my dream role. They said we could maybe use a song from the show, if so, would I use World of Your Body (Reprise)? Thank you guys so much!

Casting Directors will often appreciate you bringing in something they've never heard before. It can be a breath of fresh air, and it sets you apart.
Maybe look at a song from Murder Ballad. It's a very similar sound. "Sugar Cubes and Rock Salt" or "You Belong to Me" are both great and would complement the part of your voice that would be needed for Spring Awakening.
Of course, it all comes down to the fact that your audition song should be the best song that you can sing, both vocally and emotionally. If you know you can sing something very well, then bring that in, be it a song from the show or not.
