Posted: 7/31/05 at 12:37amI'm auditioning for a community theater production of Beauty and the Beast in about three weeks. I've prepared two songs for the audition. I've prepared "Comedy Tonight" and "The Impossible Dream." Do you believe these are good choices for the audition? I've sung "Me" at a couple of recent auditions but am not using that one for obvious reason.

Posted: 7/31/05 at 12:42amI'm not going for a particular part as this is the first production I will have done at this theater and am not well known to the directors, therefore will probably not get a named part. I'll be satisfied with anything. It's an outlet for me. I would love to be Lumiere but that's unlikely for the reason I mentioned above. The songs are different which is why I chose them. Versatility is key.
