You could pick up the Vocal Selections to the new musical Hairspray---the style of music is very similar, and they're great character songs. Maybe "Good Morning, Baltimore", or "I Can Hear the Bells".

Go with "Mama, I'm a Big Girl Now" from HAIRSPRAY.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I think you should do a one-part song...go with Good Morning Baltimore or I Can Hear the Bells....as someone else posted and those do have little chorus parts but they're the closest to a one part song.

I'm doing grease right now and when I auditioned my vocal coach had me sing "mama I'm a big girl now" from Ambes first part to the end of Penny's part. It work well enough for me I'm playing Patty!

hope your audition goes well!
