Hey guys. If you could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Typically for my audition songs I sing 'Soon It's Gonna Rain' from The Fantasticks and 'Dancing Through Life' from Wicked. Although I think 'Soon It's Gonna Rain' will be a good ballad for my audition, I've been told that 'Dancing Through Life' wouldn't be best for my audition.
I am 17 years old, male, baritone. Any advice as far as songs go that you can give me would be terrific.
Thanks so much guys for your help!

I wouldn't sing Dancing Through Life, as it is from too recent and well-known a show. It's Gonna Rain would be fine though.
thanks. any other suggestions?

You might try "I Can Do That" from A Chorus Line, or maybe something from Camelot, or "Giants in the Sky" From into the Woods, or "Extra-Ordinary" from Pippin, or "The Vigil" From Snoopy, or "Wick" from Secret Garden. I think "Extra-Ordinary" would be great and not a lot of people do it. It is fast but there are a few long notes to show you off. Good luck!
Perhaps "It Only Takes A Moment" from Hello Dolly, as it is stylistically similar to Mary Rodger's score. Or as nyspotlight suggested "Giants In The Sky" is a good song too.
Thanks so much guys!!!!
I really appreciate it!
