Auditions for a reading of a new musical

OPEN CALL FOR AUDITIONS
MEN NEEDED FOR WORKSHOP OF NEW MUSICAL

The Gilded is an intimate, original musical about a troupe of actors who have traveled the world telling stories of a kingdom which no longer exists. Arriving in the remote mining town of Commodore, they meet a young writer whose fascination with their story could be the key to ending their journey.

We’re looking for four actors to join our cast as we prepare this musical for a series of public readings in San Francico. We will be doing two preliminary readings in August, and then, using feedback from those performances, will work towards two formal, staged readings in the beginning of September. Non AEA only. No pay, but you’ll help develop a new piece of musical theatre as well as be featured on a video and demo recording used to market future mountings of this show.
