I am a dancer who needs some help finding GOOD and Original musical theatre audition songs. I have been told that I am a Baritone/Bass, but am having such a hard time finding the right up tempo song to use for auditions. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I feel your plight - luckily I never planned to sing beyond high school! Are you familiar with "A Hymn to Him" from My Fair Lady? It's the one where he sings "Why can't a woman be like a man?" As you might know, Rex Harrison was legendary for speaking his songs.
If at all possible, it might be in your best interest to get a vocal coach or voice teacher. Even for a few lessons, they could help you learn a song you could use for auditions for a while.
If not, maybe you should try something from the Music Man, as it is talksinging. Although, it is a bit difficult, if youc an master it, it will impress people.

You mentioned uptempo. And "original"...so I'm suggesting older stuff which might, by the myopic standards of some folks, SEEM original. Good lukc.
"I Wonder What the King is Doing Tonight?" from CAMELOT usually works.
Some of the stuff from BARNUM, like "There is A Sucker Born Every Minute" is tricky musically but can survive a voice that's not "the best". And the KEY can always be lowered if you need to. ("The Museum Song" from the same show is fun.) You might look at "Gov'ment" (John Goodman's song in BIG RIVER) you might have fun with it. It's got a great acting-joke in it, and can be sung with a lot of cornball notes.
