August trip

So I'm coming to New York in late August, and I'm planning on seeing Xanadu, Passing Strange, and The Marriage of Bette and Boo. I should be able to see one or two more shows. What else should I see? I'm not a big fan of musicals, so basically, does anyone know what straight plays will be playing at this time? maybe i should just leave a night open and wait to see.

Well it seems obvious that you should see AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY. I mean, you are going in August- it's fate! (Ok, that was lame, but the show is still incredible.)

It is, by far, the best piece of theatre I have ever seen.

Don't miss it!

Also, check out BOEING BOEING. It is getting great reviews and has a top notch cast.

I've already seen "August." I live in Chicago, and I saw it opening night at Steppenwolf.

And Boeing-Boeing...I don't know, it seems kind of slight.
