I was kinda of kidding, but not in the importance and relevance of the work they do.

And clearly, many commercial shows should "invest" in that aspect of their productions.

AUGUST certainly proves that.

Right, yeah, the Tony comment was obviously not meant to be literal, but about the importance and need for the trend to continue, I totally agree.

why shouldn't there be a tony award for best dramaturgy? A dramaturg's work is a vital part of a production, the same as the work of the rest of the creative team and cast.
