Australian Helen Dallimore has been cast as Glinda in the forthcoming West End production of WICKED. So that's Adam Garcia and Helen Dallimore. Go Aussies!

She's cute. Surprised they didn't try to get a "name" to go head to head with Idina.

Any word on if they still plan to record it? Have they made any changes to the show? Or will they? I still think Fieyro needs a song in Act 2 about trying to pick between Elphaba and Glinda. It would give his character some more depth.

I hope this is official - I wanted a new person for Glinda. Finally my wishes maight be answerd. No more 'names' or 'recycling' and some new fresh talent.

Miriam Margolyes and Nigel Planer have been cast as Morrible and The Wizard respectively. Good choices IMO...

More (more definate) rumours about Kerry Ellis still circling. Ozmopolitain news said to expect more casting details next week...

Miriam Margoyles is an excellent choice and goes against type as far as build is concerned.

Although there have not been "official" announcements re Glinda and Elphaba cover, the people who are posting about it on london boards are reliable never wrong in the past sources

Its a small world and news gets out fast. Especially as offers have been made

I know everyone's reporting it, and that they're normally accurate, I was just saying that it isn't announced yet, and that the site wasn't official. I've heard the rumours/confirmations too!

i'm noticing a running trait in wizard casting, former amos harts; joel grey, pj. benjamin, and nigel planner. Also for those keeping score 2 Rent Rogers have played fiyero (norbert and sebastian)
