I had heard "The internet is for Porn" and " My GF who lives in Canada" before entering the lotto tonight, but with those two songs I couldn't imagine how great it could be acted out on stage.
OHMYGOD. This show is fantastic, I'm guessing since it's as old as Wicked there's no original cast but this cast is more solid than a cinderblock! This group of 7 cast members is one of the most versatile groups I've seen to date. and it still amazes me that they can do all that with just 7 people.
Howie as Princeton is one of the greatest things I've ever seen on Broadway. He is really hilarious as both Rod and Princeton, considering this is his debut - he's fantastic and will go far.
Sarah as Kate Monster/Lucy is such a cutie pie, she reminds me of a brunette Becky Gulsvig, again I can't believe it's her broadway debut because she's so talented and has such range with her voice.
Christian as Trekkie Monster/Bear is HI-LARIOUS, I was laughing the entire show just watching him, even when others were singing I would watch his reactions to the song.
The funniest thing was when they were bowing [Me and my roomie were front row center- yay lotto!] Christian came really close to falling off the stage. so much so that Howie grabbed him and said "Don't fall off now" and when we talked to him after he was like "oh , Jenn clearly pushed me"
LOVEITLOVEITLOVEIT. If you haven't gone to see it, GO.
[ps I saw the thread about the George bush lyric a long time ago and was listening out for George Bush the entire show only to find that it was at the very end song, I'm really curious to know what the new lyric will be when George Bush is gone...]

Glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
I still maintain that AVENUE Q is one of the funniest pieces I have ever seen (regardless of medium) in my entire life.

Posted: 4/18/08 at 12:26amI'm so glad you liked it. I saw it on tour a few weeks ago and I didnt really know what to expect, like how it would look, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY loved it. =)
