First off, let me just say, I am NOT good at writing these, so here goes nothing:
Cast:

Mrs. T (saying this because of Playbill..and to avoid any issues)/Bad Idea Bear: Minglie Chen
Ensemble: Maggie Lakis, Seth Rettberg, Danielle K. Thomas
I saw Avenue Q with my friend yesterday at the St. Louis Fox Theatre. Really, going in, I didn't know ANYONE in the cast, which I was kind of worried, yet excited for. My friend however had heard some of Kelli Sawyer's singing and said she was pretty good.
So, finally, after waiting an hour in the theatre the show started, startling pretty much everyone in the theatre with that first sudden note. They had no announcement or anything they just started. The entire audience clapped after the Avenue Q theme.
The song What Do You Do With a BA in English?/It Sucks to be Me got a HUGE laugh from the audience. Generally the audience seemed to be having a great time and really enjoying the jokes and laughing at the APPROPRIATE times. Which is always nice.
The cast, let me say was SO talented, funny, and witty. So all around very enjoyable. I did like the show VERY much. I loved how simple the sets were and yet how well they worked. All around the show was FANTASTIC. Lighting, acting, singing, everything was a blast! I will say this though, some audience members did get REALLY offended during "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" and left. Also, some people were semi-offended by the song "For Now" because the cast added a great little adlib going "Your hair-is only for now. GEORGE BUSH! Is only for now", some of the little more sensitive and very pro-Bush, were kind of like "Say what?!" during that part, and some of the God Squad were semi-offended when the Bad Idea Bears found Scientology. But whatever. It was an all around good show. And so much fun!
Stage Door:
First off, it was cold as hell outside. But my friend and I still went out to the Stage Door. Well, when we got there, I realized I only had my black Sharpie, and obviously THAT wouldn't come out well on the Playbill (duh!) so I borrowed my friend's dying Silver Sharpie. Only a few members of the cast came out including: Maggie Lakis, who just kind of left, and my friend didn't want to go bother her if she OBVIOUSLY didn't want to stay. So we let her go. Then David Benoit just kind of ran out as well, and we missed him. But then Robert McClure came out. I might add that beside my friend and I, there were these three girls who were annoying as aggh. They were like "ZOMG AVENUE Q WAS GOOD BUT WICKED IS LYK3 SO MUCH BETTERR!". So Robert McClure signed their stuff, and came over to my friend and I. He was REALLY nice, he signed are stuff, thanked us for coming out to the show, we thanked him for being really frikken funny talented and enjoyable to watch. After Robert McClure, Cole Porter, and Angela Ai came out at the same time. They were really nice as well. Then finally Kelli Sawyer came out the Stage Door, signed our stuff, and thanked us for coming out, and then left. The three girls left after she came out, which my friend and I should have done, because no one else came out and it was freezing. But, while we were waiting we heard three LOUD crashing sounds, so ran out of the stage door alley and then around the corner and saw a three car pile up. It was one of those moments where we got the church giggles, (IE laughing at a very INAPPROPRIATE time). Schadenfreude, perhaps? Anyway, I still felt bad for the people.
Anyway, all around I'd give the show an A-. It is very well done, with MANY, great, jokes/innuendos.
