I thought about maybe doing it through the lottery tonight.
Well, it all depends on my schedule. =) But, when I do see it, I will be sure to share.
I'm not going tonight, but I'm going with some friends on Monday night. I'll make sure and fill you in. I can't wait!

I want to see this one. I saw the cast perfom at the Drama Desks and it was hilarious.
I made it over. I did the lottery--and was the last name drawn. The seats are front row. They are only $21.25. But there are only 12. However, the theatre is rather intimate and the tickets cap at $86 and some change. =)
I thought it was a FUN show. I don't think I have ever heard an audience laught that hard--or clap that much during a show. The cast is SUPER talented--especially when you consider that the ones working the puppets are acting for two--no line between the puppeteer (really, actor) and puppet as one as each character. Really nice work. I certainly hope that awards season is good to them (and doesn't let the puppetry in any way "lessen" their performance and their worth as potential nominess/winners.) The design is incredibly clever and fun. The writing and direction is fun fun fun. And, like most satires we've seen lately, the musical really captures our society. In fact, it's political incorrectness and randiness is more honest than most shows you may have seen.
I highly recommend it. I think it will be a HUGE furry hit. =)
Saw it off broadway......hopefully they didn't change much because I think it was the most entertaining show I've seen in ages....very clever....funny....touching at times. I hope it's a huge hit. Very talented group.
The only problem is, I won't be able to get to NYC until June 2004! I hope the show is still running!
