When I got mine-they were in the last row of the mezzanine--still pretty good seats.

By any chance, has anyone gotten rush seats this week? I read that it's only 1 ticket per student i.d. and I would need 2. Do you think the box office would be more lenient since the show is closing in a little over a week? I was thinking of going on Fri. night. They also have SRO but the show hasn't been selling out. Thanks.

They wouldn't be lenient because it's closing. They would be stricter with their policies.

That's not true. At Sweet Charity's last performance everyone who just asked for a ticket right before the show, willing to pay full price were given student price tickets without asking.

I'll be there this weekend using tdf tickets re: Awake and Sing Rush

...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

Actually, since the show has only filled the theatre in the 60-70% capacity throughout the run, despite rave reviews, I would think that they'd want to sell as many tickets as possible, at whatever rate. I find it very doubtful that someone asking for two student rush tickets and willing to pay the $60 would be turned away.

I guess I'll go to the box office & see if I get lucky. I tried to get 2 rush seats for Steel Magnolias a week before it closed but they would only sell me one student ticket. Luckily, I had a coupon for the second seat. I guess for this show I'll make sure to have a coupon with me once again.
