On a more positive note....Legally Blonde was a show that I FULLY expected to hate.

Boy, was I friggin surprised. I was hooting and hollering. Everything about that show is first rate entertainment, and pretends to be nothing more or less. What a great, well-rounded, dramatically satisfying and just plain FUN show.

Honestly, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I can wait to see it again.

I hope it runs forever, and I hope this husband and wife songwriting team goes on to do more and more for MGM and whatever else they want, because they deserve it.

How is the view from front row? I saw it like 7 rows back and loved it but i thought the front looked like you would be looking up pretty far. Just curious.

The front row at that show is REALLY high. It's still very enjoyable, but you can't see the dogs (or shoes) at all.

Well the boys just got on their plane. I'm sorry to see them go, but happy that they are turning into men who are sensitive and well-rounded. Good kids, really.

So, all in all, they saw:
Hairspray
Avenue Q
Legally Blonde

Also we watched in the movies and on video:
Hairspray film (they insisted last night - they still liked the show more)
Rent Film (which they didnt care for, thats ok, they're no the only ones, althought I think its cool)

I still havent' seen hairspray on stage yet, any chance Michael Ball might be making a Bway appearance in it? I was seeing A Chorus Line that night, which blew me away.

Thanks for ALL of your help and advice people, it really made a difference in this weekend for them, I don't think I could have planned it well enough without your guys' input. really, this place is a great resource. Thank you!
