I recently had the pleasure of seeing Babara Cook perform at the Ordway in St. Paul. WOW! WOW! WOW! ...
What a peformer! What a voice! What a woman!
I am more of a contemporary musical theatre fan, so the music she sang wasn't exactly up my alley, (though I have appreciation for it and respect it), but I couldn't get enough.
She also has some great stories that she sprinkled throughout her performance of her early years in the biz. I could sit and listen to those ALL day!! It was a very simple show - piano, bass and her and it was great!
