Good news, folks! As a celebration of the release of the BARE sampler CD (produced by Sh-K-Boom Records), and timed with today's CD signings at the theatre, we are broadcasting one song from the CD near the top of every hour on Broadwayworld.com Radio, all day!

Listen to Broadwayworld.com Radio today for a teaser, and then head over to the American Theatre of Actors (314 West 54th Street) at 6:30 PM and 10:45 PM and get your free copy of the CD itself and have it signed by the cast!

This is just the sampler. BTW, you can download the songs for free online at Sh-K-Boom's web site!
Sh-K-Boom Records -- look for the "BARE" pop-up window!

Do you have to buy a ticket to get today's free copy? Or just line-up?

According to cast members and show staff, as of last week, only a sampler CD of the current show. The option of a full CD will be explored when the show reopens this fall.

This is great news...and for those of you who may have missed it, please, feel free to read Rob's fascinating interview with "Bare" star, Jenna Leigh Green:

Does anyone have any pictures? I couldn't make it to the signing.

How old is John Hill?? isn't he just 30? are there any cast members over 25 playing high school kids? gives me hope cause I'm in a theatre college now and don't want to miss my chance at some of these younger roles...

I do believe John Hill is younger than that, somewhere in his mid 20s.
Michael Arden just looks like a baby-head compared to him (at least I thought so).
I actually have enjoyed the Bare CD (Got a free preview copy at a performance the other night) much more than I enjoy the score in the theatre. Guess that's one of the fundamental problems of pop in theatre...but I'm severely disappointed in that it's hard to follow the arc of the story based on the CD...John's character, Jason, is featured on two songs. You'd think Ivy was a much more central part of the show than Jason based on that.
