BARITONE UP-TEMPO????

Hey everyone have an audition next week and need a good up-tempo song for a baritone.
My other monologues/songs that I am doing for my audition are listed below:
Dramatic mono. - William's monologue . . . THE ATTIC
Contrasting mono. - Charlie's monologue . . . EAT YOUR HEART OUT
Balad - Prayer . . . THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL
UP-Tempo - ..........???????

HELP PLEASE I KNOW ALL OF YOU PROBABLY HAVE SOME GREAT SUGGESTIONS

EDIT: Though, admittedly, it does have the slow "I wrote a poem..." section in the middle.

And it's from "Kiss Me Kate." I wouldn't really call it uptempo...

"Wouldn't You Like to Be on Broadway?" from Street Scene is one I use. "Tonight at Eight" and "She Loves Me" from She Loves Me are pretty upbeat too.

Regarding "Kiss Me, Kate", I think "Where is the Life That Late I Led?" would work better than "Were Thine..."

HAH! You are absolutely right. It's on one of my compilation CD's right underneath "Fate" and I looked at the wrong show.

It's still an up-tempo, though. It's in cut-time for God's sake. What do you want the man to sing, a patter song?
