I couldn't find it discussed on here, so as a PSA I wanted to make everyone aware of BBC's version of the Sondheim 80th birthday concert, of which most is posted on YouTube (search for "Sondheim at 80" or "Sondheim Proms" or some combination therein). It was just as enjoyable as the NY Philharmonic production, in my opinion, and better than the NY City Center one. It had Daniel Evans and Jenna Russell doing SUNDAY stuff, which I loved, as well as a number of performers I haven't gotten to enjoy before because they are West End-based. Plus, the production value was huge.
I know the production is close to a year old, but I didn't know about it, so I assume others don't as well. Enjoy! I know I did!
I'm totally obsessed with the PROMS' "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid."
